How to check booting time in Linux

Sometimes we are experiencing slowness in boot time. Here in this article, we are going to discuss about the boot time and the time breakdown of the services.

Run the following command to find the boot time of the system.

arunlal@lintechops:~$ systemd-analyze 
Startup finished in 2.140s (firmware) + 10.515s (loader) + 3.266s (kernel) + 8.932s (userspace) = 24.854s
graphical.target reached after 8.921s in userspace

In order to breakdown the time consuming by the services for the booting process , please run the following command.

arunlal@lintechops:~$ systemd-analyze blame
